Our Story

Our Story

On Via dei Macci, in Florence's Sant'Ambrogio quarter, our osteria is a Tuscan home brought to life — stone walls, soft lamplight, and a table where the city slows down.

Run by Ardit and Chris, we keep to the classics: pasta rolled by hand, the Fiorentina grilled over embers, slow-cooked ragùs and a cellar of Tuscan wines — served with a genuine welcome.

What We Believe

From the Market

We shop the Sant'Ambrogio market and work with local producers, so every ingredient is as fresh as the Tuscan morning.

By Hand

From hand-rolled pici to the wood-fired grill, we keep the time-honoured methods that machines simply can't replicate.

A Tuscan Cellar

Wine is part of the welcome. Our cellar leans into Tuscany — Chianti, Brunello, Vernaccia — chosen to match the table.

Bistecca alla Fiorentina weighed at the table before service.

"Good food, good wine and a warm welcome — that's the whole idea."

There's no celebrity chef here — just Ardit, Chris and a team our regulars know by name. Honest Tuscan cooking, a warm room, and a welcome that makes you want to stay for one more glass.
